Harperbury was opened in 1928, converted from a few aircraft hangers, to care for both adult and children with learning difficulties and sever epileptics. After the formation of the NHS Trust the hospital amalgamated with and moved to Leavensden hospital leading to the closure of the site.

Need I to get the permission to Harperbury Hospital?
as far as i know, they have now knocked this down.. i used to visit this place as a kid, getting scared things were following us! Took my old camera one evening and the amount of “orbs” was unreal. Also went to visit as my great auntie worked there for over 30 years.
I believe it has been demolished completely now, only recently though!
