Back at it with another permission visit from Hidden London, showing us the unseen sections of Holborn Station and disused line leading to Aldwych Station.
It’s a strange feeling having visited both stations on the now disused Aldwych branch after previously visit Aldwich station itself two years ago and an even more strange feeling having walked above ground between these two stations knowing just how close they really were which was one of many reasons leading to there demise.
If only I were able to walk the length of the line between these two stations I will truly see it all. Nudge nudge.. Hidden London? Also if you are reading this, please confirm my suspicions that the door to the left of the remaining track leads onto the preserved section of track at Aldwych seen here?
